As Anne Frank said "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment to improve the world."
With over 7 billion people sharing this tiny blue marble as it floats through the vast and limitless space called the Universe, there is no better time for us to make things better because this is our time, the time.
Life is full of amazing surprises.
Why not be the surprise you want to see in the world?
What Works Best?
It's hard sometimes in this world not to think that life is full of problems and negativity. For we are bombarded daily with news of bad things happening and threats to our and the Planet's future. So how can we think about things in a constructive, hopeful and realistic way where the future is concerned?
Well here's a short passage from Who Owns the Future? that encapsulates some of my philosophy about how we can re-think and re-image the future based on a shared vision of ... what works best..
"What is needed is a transcendent solution and not simply a logistical one. The key lies in each person discovering who and what they are and why they are here. The more that this is done, individually and collectively, then the more humans will change their behaviour. Not because they ought to, but because they cannot not. Therein lies the real power to change the world. When things reach a critical mass then it only takes one small event to cause the irreversible process of change to onset. Now is that eye of the needle moment: whichever way the human race decides to go over the next very short period of time will determine whether it becomes the first species on the planet to become extinct primarily by its own hand rather than by external forces. On the other hand, will there be a true renaissance and reconnection to the beacon of true human spirituality and purpose?"
